Snow Day!

We awoke this morning to this, outside our kitchen window.

I could get used to sitting on the couch, reading a book, sipping coffee, and watching the snow fall.

After getting bundled up, we went outside to explore a bit. There was some snowball throwing, attempted snowman building, and snow hiking.

We didn't last very long outside, and the snow wasn't very deep. We have snow gear, because we hoped to go skiing somewhere while we're here. I hadn't realized before we arrived that it would snow here. Quite a novelty for these SoCal kids!
